Circle4Success After-School Enrichment Program

Our After School Enrichment Program has recently been redesigned and renamed Circle 4Success. Everything we do is driven by a simple prayer: "I will continue, O my God, to do all my actions for the love of You" (Jean Baptist do La Salle). 

The '4' in C4S stands for the four areas that the program addresses as we seek to grow in our love for God: Heart (social & emotional development); Soul (spiritual growth); Strength (personal character & skill development); and Mind (academic enrichment). To help the children learn important truths we have developed a curriculum based on the allegory, Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. (To learn more about how that is happening, click on the photo below.)

Another important element of our C4S strategy is our Arts Enrichment Activities. Not only do these activities make for more fun for the kids, many of the activities offer important developmental benefits as well. Click here to read more about the C4S Arts Enrichment Activities.
   

Our partnership with Catalyst Circle-Rock School provides the opportunity to offer wrap-around services every school day for the students from kindergarten thru 8th grade. When school is not in session over the summer extended break the C4S program provides nurturing safe activities on our campus through the summer camp.

This year's summer camp, Camp Usoni, (oo-sony) is a full-day camp for kids in grades K through 8th. The word ‘usoni’ means ‘future’in Swahili. The camp’s mission is to prepare the children for a purposeful future, keeping the focus on God’s Son, Jesus Christ. We are offering two 3-week sessions of camp that will run from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in the months of July and August. Click here to read more about Camp Usoni and how you might get involved.

Many of the families we serve make great financial sacrifices to enroll their children in the Circle4Success after school enrichment program, contributing up to $1,250 per school year toward the $4,000 year-round annual cost per student (there is a sliding-scale based upon ability to pay).  We count on the generous gifts of our partners across America to make up the difference so that the program can remain affordable to our families.  (see “Get Involved / Sponsor A Child” on our website)
