Toward the end of the school year mentoring participants were asked to take a survey. Below we have shared just four of the questions with the responses from the kids displayed just the way they were written, with only minor editing for clarification. It is always an encouragement to us when we see indications that our prayers and efforts to be positive change agents in the children's lives is bearing good fruit.
What I like doing most with my mentor is:
talking to each other about whats been going on in my life and how I am doing in school
Going outside and having fun.
We'll chat and play for a while and when times up we get up and go (Even though I don't want too).
What I like doing most with my mentor is when she sits down with me and ask me about my weekend, what's going on in school, and lastly what I want to do the next time we meet again.
going outside, going on trips, going to the gym, and being with her, period.
playing basketball and getting advice.
My mentor and I talk the most about:

What me and my mentor most talk about is, My goals, and what I have to do to accomplish them.

making the right choices.
my life, what I do at school, and at home.

The best thing about Circle's Mentoring Program is:
I have someone to talk to. If I have any problems I have someone to tell and have someone who likes to spend time with me.
that they really care about you
having some one to look up to. having someone to talk to about my struggles and success.
Is that you get to spend time with people who you don't see every day and talk to that person about anything and everything just like a counselor.
that it helps me be a better person.
having fun and going on outings with my mentor and I thank god that I have a mentor like I do now. I would have never have learned the stuff about being a doctor.
