We are able to meet people's physical and spiritual needs through our partnership of faith and works with Circle Urban Ministries. We are seeing our community transformed through the life-giving power of Jesus Christ.

Since our inception in 1983 under the direction of Pastor Raleigh Washington, Rock Church has blazed a trail in the area of racial reconciliation. Abraham Lincoln Washington now pastors Rock Church with a special focus on revitalizing families in our community.

Getting Here

We're located at 118 North Central Avenue in Chicago. That's the northwest corner of Central and Washington Aves. Link here to MapQuest for a map that will lead you to our door. Or, follow these directions:

From the west: Take the Eisenhower Expwy. (I-290) heading east toward downtown Chicago. Take the Central Ave. exit (one exit past Austin) and turn left (heading north) onto Central. Take Central to Washington (about .5 miles, one street past Madison). Park in the lot on the northeast corner of Washington. Walk across the street to our building. Our entrance is on Central. On Sundays, the sanctuary entrance is right on the corner. Monday through Friday, turn right after you cross the street and enter by going up a flight of stairs under an archway.
