Rock of Our Salvation Church

While this Rock Church information page is in Circle Urban's program section, the church is not a Circle program. Rock Church is Circle Urban's longest term ministry partner here in Austin. Since Rock Church began in 1983, we have been joined in a significant faith-works partnership serving the Austin neighborhood and sharing a ministry of racial reconciliation.

Rock Church is a multi-ethnic and economically diverse congregation that is seeking to live out real Christian unity in ways that celebrate our gifts and differences.

Rock Church services are held in the gymnasium of our building at the corner of Central Avenue & Washington Blvd. (See the Map page in the About Us section.)

Sunday Service time is 10:30 AM.

Annual Harvest Outreach

A shared effort between Rock Church and Circle Urban is the annual Harvest Fest (pictures above). It is an extended outreach into our community that includes free luncheons for men and women, a free carnival, community cook out, and daily tent meetings. We have volunteer teams that come from as far away as Minnesota to help with Harvest.
