Dear Friend:
“The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:14 NIV)
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink. . . see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:37-40 NIV)
Our mission statement is “transforming lives and community through the applied power of the whole gospel of Jesus Christ”. We believe that happens when we love our neighbors as ourselves; when we minister to the hungry, the stranger, the sick and imprisoned, our brothers and sisters in need.
We wanted to share with you how our Community Care efforts are impacting lives for the King. The following stories are a quick glimpse into issues that our neighbors are facing daily.
Also, we recently shared with you about the struggle we are having financially, an issue that impacts how we can serve our neighbors. Many of you responded generously. Thank you! We are not out of the woods, but we are able to continue without making program cutbacks at this time.
Thank you for continuing to pray for and support the ministry of Circle Urban.
In His Service,
Glen Kehrein
